Carter Blaire is the part-Kryptonian father of Alison Blaire and estranged (or ex) husband of Madame Hydra. Initially, he estranged himself from his daughter after separating from his wife, but after a particularly stern beration from Superman, he began to seek reconciliation, and is now on good terms with her.
