Amanda Sefton also by her other name Daytripper was a student attending Bayville High School and the love interest of Nightcrawler. She was later revealed to be descended from a prominent line of witches, in which she manifested her powers at a coming of age, and becoming a member of X-Force under the code-name Daytripper.
History[]
Born of African/Romany decent, Amanda was descended from the Szardos, a family of witches. She lived in Bayville where she attended Bayville High. There, Amanda grew to become infatuated with her fellow student Kurt Wagner. Although, Amanda was too shy to tell him about her feelings, and that her feelings remained even after she once accidentally saw him turning off his image-inducer. Amanda found her courage in finally dating Kurt at the Sadie Hawkins dance and revealing him her knowledge of his real form.

Amanda Sefton's character is based on the X-Men: Evolution character but different from the Marvel mainstream universe where her other version is Caucasian, unlike the Evolution series she was not made a mutant and thus no powers like her counterpart.
