History[]
Ron Troupe initially worked for the Metropolis Tribune, until he was canned for investigating into Shaw International's waste-management program; Shinobi Shaw confronted Troupe's editor about Troupe's article and causing him to be fired. However, Troupe's investigation earned the attentions of J. Jonah Jameson and was hired to work for the Daily Planet.
